Primarily supported by partner sales, in 2018 Clover started offering its POS systems direct through its website. To prove viability of the channel, Clover needed to rapidly scale their efforts in attracting new customers and increasing online sales. Their existing demand generation efforts had stalled but they knew there was a massive opportunity to increase their market share through digital advertising.

Clover turned to Closed Loop, a trusted partner in paid media management, to identify growth opportunities to carve its stake in the POS competitive landscape.

STRATEGY

In a highly collaborative effort, Clover and Closed Loop developed a full-funnel paid media strategy to capture the massive opportunity. By syncing front-end and back-end metrics, leveraging machine learning for paid search, restructuring Facebook campaigns, and implementing a pay-per-lead program on review sites, Clover saw an incredible 735% increase in leads over a 12 month period.
